i.hate.rainy.days
really moody.it's been raining heavily for the past week. grey skies, thunder, wet feet. it gets to me.one more paper, don't have the motivation to study. i just did a chapter on drainage. storm water run off. how apt. i need a little sunshine.

burn the floor, burn my money
was so excited this afternoon cause i was gonna watch Burn the Floor! with Xin! we got the tickets at $48, student price. as we happily squeezed into the elevator, squeezed past the crowd and settled in our seats, we overheard the usher tell someone that it was a '1 hr show because it's a student show', that pretty much scorched our moods. i thought 'student price' meant the normal show, just that they do it out of pity for penniless students. if we knew it was only half the show we would have bought it at normal price. sigh. nevertheless, the performance was a breathtaking one. the dancers were sexy, charming, sharp and passionate. made me wanna do the rrrrhuuummmbaa!!!! got some pics, but blur cos they were moving so fast and using flash gives ugly pics. went to Nike B.I.R.D. to catch Fabby at work. Weicheng joined us too. it was Fab's dinner break so we went to Crystal Jade Kitchen. it was nice seeing the guys! haven't seen them for soooo long.

of grey skies and a good tune
i feel too relaxed!! i am supposed to be stressed about the exams but all i am doing is lazing around, enjoying time spent with Mike, shopping, and meeting up with studio mates. bahsssss.
just last saturday, the day after submissions, i dragged Mike out for shopping. Zara, Women's Secrets and Topshop. BUT. i only bought one item each from Zara and Topshop. 2 from WS. not alot what right! i shouldn't feel guilty about it. and then Sunday came, and i was doing my model for Crit the next day. still, went for dinner and Ice Age2 with Mike at night. Ice Age2 is really cute and funny! my parents are gonna watch it later. they are so adorable. rarely see them going on a movie date. it's cos my mum likes Ice Age, so she wanna catch this one.
on Monday after crit went for studio dinner at Holland V. NYDC, followed by drinks and music at Walas.

met Danny, Jiahe and Charissa there too. joined them for a bottle of beer. Jiahe's case is going to the courts. instead of sympathizing with him i am really finding it funny. i'll go for the hearing if i can make it hahhaa.
and then yesterday went for another arki gathering at Zhangyu's place. it was steamboat and they brought the food in only at 8pm. so all of us messed up the kitchen and spent an hour preparing the food, before we sat down and ate for 2+ hours. it was a night full of laughter and jokes. the jokes...i think i will classify them as m-18. of melons and i-gallops, mau-rex and clingfilms, mini-me and sex-chairs. the guys were being gay and i had tiger splashed down my back -_- it was a fun night where we spoilt Zhangyu's door lock and took out her toilet door knob, broke a glass and crashed her lamp. what a lovely bunch we are.
its raining again and i hate the rain cos i wanna go out. Mike loves the rain though. my bro is strumming a latino number on the guitar. i feel so chilled.
i wonder if he's up yet. i kinda miss him already.

YES IT'S OVER
submission is officially done. no more slogging in studio until next semester.somehow this time it was really tough. i spent 4 nights consecutively in school, went home only to bathe/eat/sleep for 2 hrs. for the record, from Monday morning till Fri afternoon, i only had about 6 or 8hrs of proper sleep, broken down into periods of 2 hrs each. it is the crappiest feeling in the world, when you want to sleep but you can't because there's just so goddamn much to do. and then when your body can't take it anymore, you take a 2 hr nap, waking up cursing and feeling extra guilty. the true side of everyone shows when you're tired, irritated, mentally pushed to the limit. some people are pissed off easily, some amazingly still find the effort to help and encourage others, some just stare straight ahead expressionless. its madness.but still, i love my studio mates, and even if given another chance, i would still choose Architecture, because i love the insanity, i love the people, i love the experience. i never thought i could enjoy school, but really i am having a great time! i feel thankful that my close friends in arki are so encouraging, so helpful, and still crack jokes and laugh like mad when everyone is already stressed to the max. thank you too my Michael darling who came down twice to help me with my model and bought me a nice Superstar from Carl's Junior. yummy! and thank you mummy for fetching me to and fro from home for my daily baths hehe. i could never survive this journey without the people around me.YAY!!!

hairy business
look at this.
i haven't had the chance to watch V for Vendetta, but i'm quite attracted to the shaved Natalie Portman. raw beauty. it's probably quite the worst nightmare for any girl to appear like that. how brave of her. and inspiring.
maybe i should try it someday.
but then, i am ham-chee. i've been (unsuccessfully) trying to grow my hair to the equivalent of vavavoom-runway-bombastic-supermodel proportions. and now i am in the...3rd? 4th? attempt. hopefully it will happen. or not.
and maybe one day after i have finally gotten my bombshell hair i will make the (wrong) decision to get it shaved for $2. or $800 like Mr Posh Spice.
