me and my magazine

Maxim July was out a couple of days ago. I spent the whole wednesday looking out for it...cos most places don't stock that fast. Was really anxious to see how I looked...because.......I know how photoshop can distort, and having had a 'glamour' shot at Beautybox (do NOT go there, pleasepleaseplease. waste of money.) that made me look like an extra out of a 8os drama, my hopes weren't that high up.

Finally found the issue at Bugis basement, after scouring the whole Suntec area, then dragging Mike on a hike to Bugis when my friend said she saw the issue there.

omg that sounds so wrong.

Onced I thumbed through the magazine and saw myself for 1 second, I totally shut the thing and became glum faced. Initial reaction: THEY BLEW MY PHOTO UP TO A FULL PAGE!? I thought its half page so I will look tiny, then my fat bits will look smaller too. Poor Mike was trying to reaasure me that I look nice..but..I look abit weird. I don't know why!!! hahaha. The pose looks so relaxed but I was DYING, seriously. I had sampan deck marks on my thigh the whole day which didn't totally fade off until 2 days later.

Then again...I am complaining too much. It's not everyday that you see yourself in a sexy shot in a magazine, so I am gonna shut up and take it as it is.

I don't have the soft copy, will wait for SPH to give me my photos.
