we had steamboat, watched the channel 5 vivocity countdown which really sucked... and then we played Ice Age. its such a cute cartoon! following that was abit of texas holdem poker. really abit, cos after a few rounds everyone got bored, and we switched to indian poker, the bet being wine. so we got a little jolly, but no drunks yay!
i'm pretty happy this few days, much better than i was when i penned the previous post! maybe cos dear has ended his work and has a few days to spend with me, and also my fav babe is back from UK! apart from that, Oli is also back home from the US, and today a few of us aki peeps will be having a picnic at sentosa yay yay.
also had the chance to meet up with some NJ classmates last thursday, after 2 or 3 years of not seeing them. it was really fun cos we decided to give neoprints a shot and it was just freaking hilarious. before we knew it the machine was snapping away and we were left scrambling all over the place. but the worst thing is that now I LIKE NEOPRINTS AGAIN!!!! hahahah i can't believe this. yesterday i dragged my baby to the neoprint shop at heeren and wasted another 10bucks. heeheeeee.

Mon stayed over on Sat night, and it was nice to chat late into the night, eating polky biscuits and laughing about all the ridiculous stuff we have done. dinner was joined by Mag, and the bitching resumed in a booth of the taka sushi tei, just like the old times :D we forgot to take pictures though too bad! peishi wasn't free to join us, but we're all going to zouk this wednesday. it's gonna be so fun ;)
this morning, after 3 hrs of sleep in dear's room, went to KAP macs to meet junxian to discuss the project. it's damn last minute, hopefully we can make it :p after which i went to taka to have lunch with dear and yingzhou. first time meeting yingzhou since he got back! anw the point was that we went to the imperial treasure crystal jade restaurant there (my baby damn blur, went to suntec xiaolongbao branch then call me to ask where i'm sitting hahaha). the queue is insaneeeeee!!! DO NOT GO to crystal jade restaurants on a public holiday. i reserved and still had to wait 45 mins!
ok actually that's not the point the main thing is that the service was horrible the WAITRESS SCOLDED ME. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! uber pissed. asked her to get stuff like 2 or 3 times she kpkb and say she serve our table so many times alr, why can't we tell her all at once blahblah.
HULLO AUNTIE. i asked for water right from the start and you forgot, so i reminded you again. yingzhou ask for light sauce, which is a very common thing to ask for eating dim sum, and which we weren't provided with. and i asked for cut chilli cos my bf's noodles didn't come with them. and then you scold us. not only that the table was not even laid, you just dumped the dining ware on the table in one pile, then 5 minutes later then take the chopsticks for us, then 3 mins later then take the tea towel for us, then still scold us! !($^!*#&**)(#!*^*^^&&^$**********. wahhhhhh. seriously i felt the heat rush to my head and i was just stunned. we all stared at her for quite a few seconds. where got such rubbish right! isn't being a good waitress your job!?!? i'm paying service charge leh!!!!!! and then after awhile she said, 'sorry. i tell you sorry hor.' then became very gentle in her serving.
like i give a f**k about your apology. spoil my new year lunch. sorry i sound really bitchy, but seriously if you were scolded by any waitress you'd feel like screaming back at her. so i complain lor. service charge waived, but still a horrible experience.
but it was still good to see yingzhou and listen to all his incredible stories. his tales of adventure can really make anyone laugh. one of my all time favourite friends!
